English Romantic Verse Revision is an important use of time for students studying the English Literature A Level provided by Edexcel. Poetry is part of the third component of the Edexcel A Level English Literature course and accounts for  30% of the total qualification, with one half of that exam made up of the Post-2000 poetry that is part of the Poems of the Decade Anthology. The other half will be dependent on what your school has chosen – you may be studying a literary period or a named poet.

English Romantic Verse Revision

This is still a relatively new course, with the first examinations having taken place in June 2017. You will have to pick one of two specified questions, each of which will have one poem that is part of this collection, and then it is up to you to compare another poem from those that you have studied to also write about within the same essay.
